About the Event
Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference aims to encourage parents and caregivers to meet the everyday needs of children impacted by adoption and/or foster care. The conference also serves as an opportunity to further resource churches in their endeavors to be beacons of hope and encouragement for families in their congregations and surrounding communities. The aim of this one-day simulcast event will be to shepherd parents and everyday caregivers to a deeper understanding of their children’s needs. By introducing robust resources and sharing practical experiences of successes and failures of the day-to-day, it is our prayer that parents and caregivers will leave encouraged as they continue to journey well with their children.
Lunch is provided, as well as snacks throughout the day.
Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to meet attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI is connection.
This includes lunch & refreshments, as well as conference materials.
This ticket includes a link to watch the 5 sessions virtually.
