The Art of Coming Home Gala & Art Auction

The Event

Over 140 guests joined us for The Art of Coming Home Gala & Art Auction. It was a beautiful evening! We enjoyed artwork created by orphans and adoptees; listened to dynamic speakers; dined on delicious food; and experienced the generous support of Mid-Atlantic Orphan Care Coalition's donors!

*A special thank you to our speakers, Chris Kraus and Vanessa Russel! Your stories were full of hope and inspiration!*

An Announcement

At the event, we announced an exciting opportunity: The Luzerne Foundation awarded MAOCC a $5,000 matching grant! As a result, we launched our new monthly giving campaign. This campaign was so new, that we had yet to come up with a name for our generous monthly contributor group!

The Response

We were blown away by the generous response at the gala! Through the generous partnership of the individuals, churches, and businesses represented at the gala, we will be able to continue to continue our mission of educating, equipping, and encouraging Christians and their churches to care for children in need of families! To top it off, we exceeded the matching grant through our new monthly giving campaign!

This Friday, March 15, we will open voting to help us determine the name of our monthly giving campaign - and we need YOUR help! Cast your vote on our facebook or instagram page.

Didn't make it to the gala, but want to do more than help name the campaign? You can join our monthly giving campaign by setting up a recurring donation through our secure giving platform!

Thank you!

To everyone who helped make this night so memorable - thank you! Your generous support of MAOCC will help us launch our Ambassador Program, hold more Orphan Care 101 meetings throughout the year, and increase the number of children we serve through our Heart Gallery events! Click here for more information about our programs, and the way we are utilizing them to fulfill the vision of seeing Christians and their churches partnering together to care for children in need of families!
